Gaff yawl yacht, based on east coast (Bawley) working boat, built in Marthas Vineyard USA, 2002 by Ashley Butler. Pitch pine and oak planking on black lobast frames fastened with copper and bronze. Engine fitted 2007, new sails 2009, sailing tender (2008), solar panel, liferaft (2013),sea toilet (2012) with holding tank, Taylors cooker in new galley (2013). Three cabins: forward cabin with double berth; mid ships cabin with workshop/nav station/sail stowage, Blakes/Lavac sea toilet and (new) skylight over; saloon with pilot and settee berths, Faversham solid fuel stove, galley/pantry aft with ample stowage. All beautifully fitted out in cherry wood and the whole boat fully maintained and extensively improved in the current 9 year ownership. Currently lying in Porto, Portugal (cheap flights available from London). Total of 12 sails, including three running sails (twins plus balloon jib), storm jib and storm trisail, two top sails. LOD 32ft, LOA (with bowsprit and bumpkin out) 45 ft, beam 12ft, draught 5ft 6". Hydrovane self steering, Garmin GPS, VHF (DSC) radio, Target HF3 SW radio (for weather faxes), "Seame" active radar reflector, AIS receiver, 4 man "Seago" liferaft (2013), 8 ft fibreglass sailing tender (stowed under cover on deck),with 3HP outboard motor.

Spacious forecabin with double berth (fresh water tank beneath), wardrobe, stowage lockers, bookshelves and hatch over with two opening bronze portholes.
Saloon with two settee berths (with fresh water tanks beneath) and two pilot berths (stowage lockers beneath), solid fuel stove with chimney, bookshelves with drawers, oil lamps and flourescent lighting, radio/CD player with speakers.
Galley to starboard beneath aft deck house, at foot of companionway, Taylors (parrafin) cooker with stowage and worktop in cherry wood. Porcelain (Belfast style) sink to starboard with stowage lockers above and underneath. Fresh water delivered to sink by foot pump, sea water delivered by hand operated bronze pump. Bronze opening ports to port and starboard in deck house.
