ACCOMMODATION AND DOMESTIC EQUIPMENT
Martha Primrose is built as an optimum length cruising yacht ideally suitable for two people, with comfortable accommodation for children and/or guests. She comprises of seven berths in three separate cabin spaces, one heads and beautiful 'cottagey' sea worthy -galley. Her interior has a combination of lustrous cherry joinery, impressive attention to detail with hand carving and bespoke panelling and turned posts. This intricacy is off set with slightly less formal and homely shaker -style painted tongue and groove and characterful woodstove installation.
Stepping below one enters the functional and light doghouse – a marvellous space with seating and three large windows each side great for visibility and light. Here on the starboard side is the chart table and navigational and engine equipment, with stowage outboard both sides and excellent practical facilities for oilskins, life jackets and foot wear.

Aft of the doghouse a step down on the port side leads to owner's cabin. A private and calm space with a large double bunk to starboard and single berth outboard to port.

Forward of the doghouse with a gentle step down there is the practical and pretty galley on the portside.

Forward of the galley and heads is the main saloon, which boasts wonderful head room, light and up lifting atmosphere with the butterfly skylight above. Either side are comfortable bench seats, eye catching joinery and a feature fireplace and woodstove forward on the starboard side. There are pilot berths on both sides, very pleasant berths at sea. Her table is demountable and with a drop leaf which has the benefits of leaving a large open soul board and living space when stowed away. The octagonal Douglas fir mast is placed at forward end of the main saloon and is a beautiful sight.

Martha Primrose has a gaff yawl rig. Her main mast is 58ft and mizzen mast, 20ft, stands aft of the steering position. Her design is tailored to be simplistic, easy to handle even as a single-handed sailor or shorthanded, with excellent ergonomics and function to achieve excellent boat speed and ease of handling. Her deck layout provides clear open laid deck space, clear of clutter and unnecessary equipment.
