An Classic Bermudan sloop. Built to the exacting requirements of her original owner. commissioned to build a 2/3 berth Yacht seaworthy for the Thames Estuary. Only in her third ownership in 70 years......
In 1999 /2000 she underwent a major professional refit. All the keel bolts were replaced, a new centreboard casing was fitted. At this time, she also had a new Beta Marine engine, gearbox and stern gear installed.
Ashore for the Winter, she will be undercover once the routine Seasonal maintenance is completed. (Mast un stepped and requires refurbishing.)
Topsides repainted August 2024.

Two opposing settee bunk berths full length of the cabin. and generous width.
Privacy door into the forepeak. Baby Blake Heads.
Companionway step in, starboard purpose built glass / crockery and stowage. Port side is the galley facility with a double burner spirit stove .
A removable table stands on the centreline of the cabin when required.

Construction

Thick carvel Mahogany topsides
Larch below the water line Elm sawn frames interspersed with steamed frames. Long keel of lead external ballast. A steel cased centreboard box sited below the cabin sole under the bridge deck at the cabin entrance.
She has laid decks Cabin top: West epoxy sheathed and painted.
An open aft cockpit, opposing bench stowage bins.
A sliding hatch over the companionway, set of double doors. Fore hatch in foredeck. Opening bronze ports set into the coach roof.
Bronze deck vents.

Bermudan Sloop Rig. Varnished Spruce spars mast and boom. The mast, deck mounted in a tabernacle. ( mast un stepped requires renovation revarnishing.

A Longton & Gray Genoa, a working jib which was modified in 2005 for the Furling system.
A Sail spar furling gear fitted new 2005.
A storm jib and a spinnaker (never used)
