Description
North is a charming weekend race yacht which was designed by A.E Luders Sr & Jr and built at their yard in 1947 in Stamford CT. One of only fifteen ever built and was constructed using a hot moulded method of building, which at the time was very advanced and created an extremely strong, but elegant yacht.
North is sail no 10 and was the subject of a very extensive refit in the late 90’s which saw her keel being dropped, new keelbolts, frames replaced, new deck and epoxy sheathed which has helped see her into the future. Work was completed in 2001 and was then carefully stored inside until 2010 when re commissioned.
This is a wonderful opportunity to become the custodian of a ready to race classic, with a good inventory of sails/spares.
