Maggie Jane is a classic 34 foot wooden broads cruiser built in the post war golden age of the Norfolk broads in 1952 by Martham boat building company. Originally named Judith IV she spent many years in the ‘J’ class hire fleet on the broads before being renamed to Maggie Jane in 1984. More recently she has undergone extensive classic restoration featuring bare wood varnish stripping and traditional hull recorking in order to preserve her original features.
The interior layout includes two cabins allowing four berths and one head with a shower and marine toilet facility. A folding canvas roof over the helm seat allows for both indoor and outdoor driving as this can be removed easily. Towards the bow of the boat there is a saloon with two sofas and a dining table with the galley in the bow featuring a sink, hob and fridge along with storage below.
The singular Nanni engine runs off Diesel fuel with a maximum speed of 8 knots.
