Mahogany on oak, carvel construction.
22ft long by 8ft wide
Built in 1948 in Norfolk by Moore & Sons. The first of only 6, originally named Moorhen, purpose built for a hire fleet.
Over the years this boat has had a few private owners and has been very well maintained. Mostly stored ashore over the winter, comes with a full all over winter cover.
Henriette was acquired 2 years ago and modifications made:
Fitted new: Yanmar (YM20) engine, complete with prop shaft, sigma coupling, all stern gear and propellor. New Kobelt engine control. New holding tank, new diesel tank, hydraulic steering, side power bow thruster, 1 kw inverter, pressurised water system. New cooker, fridge, floors, shower with thermostatic control, TV, cockpit cushions and helm seat - all fitted in same year.
At 22ft this boat is very spacious, with full headroom - even in the shower (hatch fitted for ventilation - and to cover BSS requirements). Bunks are large and comfortable, with back rests that turn them into settees.
She is easy to manoeuvre, with the option of a foldable roof, that lessens the air draught to less than 6ft.
A beautiful classic little boat that draws comments wherever you go. Most of the fittings being original - a very pretty and very functional boat.
BSS to June 2026
