Description

Bob Kat II is, without question, an extremely important classic 6 Metre. She is an early creation from the drawing board of Olin Stephens. At just 23, this was his sixth 6 Metre and in the early 1930s Bob Kat II, dominated the fleet. Since being designed and built in 1931, Bob Kat II has enjoyed a long and illustrious sailing career with some of the best known yacht designers and sailors.

Bob Kat II is a second rule metre boat, which has been lovingly restored back to her original 1931 configuration and would be a strong competitor for the 2023 6m Worlds in Cowes.

Sat on her own shipping cradle, with a new spruce mast, spare mast and a beautiful set of Decron sails, she is now waiting patiently for her next custodian. She will need to be recommissioned, but with the expertise of both the Elephant Boat Yard and The Metre Yard at your disposal, this won't be difficult.
