"Lady of Stavoren" was built in 1939 by Wildschutt & Sons of Gaastmeer, Holland.
Although built in 1939 work was not completed as she was then kept in a barn for the duration of the war. The owner's family were evacuated to England during the war, the owner unfortunately was killed whilst serving his country.

Part built hull designed by Robert Clark for the owner-builder. The fourth of a series, the others being Thomas Lipton, Gypsy Moth V and British Steel. All were designed as single-handers. For disposal are a partly completed 57ft foam sandwich GRP canoe body not including steel fin and keg and Robert Clark's drawings together with building survey reports and materials specs.

A classic 'Gentleman's Yacht', Shuna was built in 1935 by Hugh McLean & Sons at Govan in Glasgow. At that time she was the subject of much interest in the Yachting press and was featured at length in an article in the magazine The Motor Boat.
Built of pitch pine on oak frames she is nearing the end of a comprehensive re-build at a boat yard in North Wales, and is now near completion. Renovation includes new teak decks with a widened and refurbished wheelhouse.

William Osborne senior (1880-1931) established a business in London in 1912 building motor car bodies, first in Pall Mall and later in Piccadilly. In 1919 William decided to expand into boat-building after receiving an order from the Sussex Motor Yacht Club for a one-design 20-knot powerboat series.
