Yachting Brokers are pleased to present a beautiful 1923 classic motor yacht that has been lovingly restored. Registered on the National Historic Ships, she was built to private order in 1923 and subsequently purchased by the post office to operate in the Shetland Isles. Rumours abound that she was used for clandestine operations in World War II which resulted in her capture and scuttling. Thankfully she was raised by the Royal Navy and purchased by HM government in 1947. Her whereabouts after that are a bit murky but she appears to have been used as a houseboat until being purchased by the cu... read more

Steam Tug which has been in our family since the 70's.
She has been featured in the Steam Boat Assoc. publication "The Funnel"a number of times. Engine dates from before 1900 and had Stephenson linkage added at later stage for forward and reverse. Selling due to lack of time and other projects, it would be great to get her back on the water. The boiler and PRV would need certification for insurance and it would be best to bring a trailer as the one that she is on dates from when we first got her.
More pictures and information available and she is listed in the Steam Boat assoc... read more

Phoenix, (formerly “Tern”) was designed by Alan Buchanan as a comfortable day sailer. She was built by William Clarkson of Whitby in 1964. She is a high-peaked gaff rigged, half decked dayboat of exceptional quality, with hull, seats and floor recently stripped and varnished by Hunter Marine Services.
She is 15’6” x 6’0” x 1’2”. She speaks for herself but the integrity of the copper-fastened mahogany on oak hull, the oak log, bolted through the cutaway keel is fine. The lodging crook, breast hook, Samson post and rubbing strake are of oak. All... read more
