Robert Tucker designed centre cockit ketch, built 1970, mahogany AGBA strip planking.
5 full length berths in 3 cabins including separate aft cabin.
Comprehensive refit of all systems 2004 - 2008, lightly used then professionally laid up and stored ashore under cover since 2013 as I now have a larger yacht (also a ketch).
Easily handled shallow draft yacht in good condition, ideal for exploring the East Coast rivers.

Forward cabin - full length port and starboard berths. Removable table (stowed behind heads door) converts this into dining area.
Main saloon - to port - linear galley with stainless steel sink, pressurised h/c water, Origo 2 burner alcohol stove with oven (no gas on the boat), portable 12v coolbox.
- to starboard - enclosed heads with Jabsco marine toilet, hand basin with h/c water. Hinged chart table with storage for charts. Pilot berth under.
Separate aft cabin - accessed from cockpit, 2 full length berhs with storage shelves over.
7/8-inch mahogany AGBA strip planking on plywood stringers. A method which produces a very strong but also lightweight hull.
Cast iron long fin keel with bulb and skeg hung rudder, an advanced configuration for her age. Her underwater profile and low wetted area combined with a relatively narrow beam provides a good turn of speed.
Keel bolts renewed.
Electrical - fully rewired, twin 12v batteries controlled by 3-way switch, shorepower with 240v sockets in galley.
Waeco 12v portable coolbox/fridge.
Hot water system - heating by engine with immersion heater for when on shorepower. 32 ltr calorifier, Jabsco pump for hot and cold water to galley and basin in heads.
On deck - Delta and Danforth anchors, 35m chain, 2 Gibb self-tailing sheet winches, 2 halyard winches, ample cleats, samson post and telescopic whisker pole.
Sharp autopilot.

Ketch rig with deck-stepped anodised aluminium masts/booms. Standing rigging replaced 2004.
Slab reefing to main and mizzen

Removable inner forestay.
Sails - Main 2 reefs - condition average
Mizzen 1 reef - condition - average
Genoa - good
Staysail - good
Mizzen staysail - good

The ketch rig is easily handled as each sail is relatively small making sailing short/single handed very easy. Ideally main and mizzen probably need replacing soon.

Fire extinguishers (out of date).
Hand operated and electric bilge pumps.
