Up to about 60 years ago on the island of Shetland a boat was the family car of its day. This delightful double ended boat is inspired by those craft. She is clinker built and has part decking. Built by Bill Bailliff at his yard in Overton, Lancashire, circa 1996, this traditional style craft is derived from the original Loch Broom Post Boats, which were used for the delivery of mail to the remote communities on Loch Broom, Wester Ross.
