Puffin was built C1970s at Chesford Yacht and Launch Co as a sailing boat. 18' long, beam 6'6", draught 1'2". Clinker built on larch with oak frames, varnished. She was sailed until 2010, then stored under cover in a wooden shed. She has since been converted into a river cruiser. The metal centreboard has been removed and the hull sealed. Here we have my Z4 tonner ‘Zingaro’ for sale. The zyklon design first drawn by Dr T Harrison Butler in the mid 1920’s and has become an icon of a classic pocket cruising yacht. Zingaro has benefited from a year on year maintenance schedule, including new keel bolts, new engine and a new mast.The chain plates were removed and re seated with new bolts when the mast was replaced.
