Her hull is mahogany double diagonal construction on oak frames.

Unfinished 1970s P. W. Blandford P.B.D. 71 “Woodwych” wooden outboard motor-cruiser project, offered with its original plans and correspondence, remaining unused timber and marine plywood, and an SBS boat trailer.
My late father bought the boat as a Blandford kit comprising the plans and the wood required for its construction. In typical fashion, he built the hull in Bermuda and subsequently shipped it back to the UK in 1972, but never completed the project. The hull has never been launched or fitted with an engine.
