1967 Sparkman & Stephens/McGruer Custom
Tintoo VI is an excellent example of mid 1960's S&S design. She was built as Gabrielle III at the McGruer yard in Scotland and has had two loving owners. When the present owner purchased her she was "one owner, one captain" and he has continually updated her, with new paint, galley, and electrical work in 2017. As GABRIELLE under her original owner she was a member of the Canadian Admirals Cup team. She participated in the Big 3 Ocean Races - Fastnet, Newport to Bermuda, and Sydney to Hobart. She is seasonally sailed out of Genoa and should be a "must see" for the wooden boat collect... read more

Norfolk Gypsy "Kingfisher", hull #9 1991
Sea-worthy enough for extended coastal work, with a lifting keel that permits full exploration of the shallowest of tidal waterways. Whilst easily handled by one, two of us have cruised in dry comfort with ample stowage above & below deck, yet with room for two more to sleep on the fitted cushions under a brand new, windowed boom tent. Kingfisher's large cockpit would usually swallow a couple of young families (4+4) for long lazy picnic and swimming trips around Chichester Harbour & Solent forays; acting as a mother ship for various dinghies & hungry children, she woul... read more

Cornish Crabber Trader 30
The 'Cornish Trader' was the first of larger yachts from Cornish Crabbers and was the forerunner to the mass produced 'Pilot Cutter'. The Trader was almost a prototype with only 6 built in the late 70’s / early 80’s. The Pilot Cutter went on to use the design of the Trader’s hull apart from the Trader having a double cockpit layout and roomy coach roof giving increased headroom, slightly raised decks and bulwarks, and gaff ketch rig instead of gaff cutter. The Trader is extremely well built and nothing like the more modern budget paper thin constructions s... read more

'Zest', Tumlare no 25
'Zest', Tumlare no 25   £29,950
Zest was designed by Knud Reimers, and built in Sweden in 1935. She was the first of 6 Tumlare yachts to come to the UK, following a visit by Roger de Quincey, a friend of Uffa Fox, to Knud Reimers in Sweden. The Tumlare class was then established at the Aldeburgh Yacht Club in Suffolk. Zest is probably the most famous Tumlare in the UK, having been written about in glowing terms by both Uffa Fox and Adlard Coles. Over the last few years Zest has been meticulously restored and maintained by the Aldeburgh Boatyard, and has had a very successful racing career, regularly winning at the Suff... read more
