Beautiful wooden sailing yacht ****engine needs replacing **** Bermudan Cutter Rig We did a big renovation project on her 2015-2016 including: removing white gloss, having transom and some side planking replaced and new copper coating on fibre glass sheathing on keel. We sailed her a bit in Bristol Channel then from Bristol to padstow in 2017 at which point the engine gave out. She's been on hard standing since then. Designed in 1927 for the Royal Gothenburg Yacht Club by Johan Anker, the Dragon class soon established itself as an international class, with fleets across Europe and Scandinavia. Gilliflower is a 19ft 'gentleman's daysailer' with a 3ft bowsprit built by Harry Feltham in his yard just outside Portsmouth in 1938. She's carvel built pine on oak with a pine deck which originally had a canvas covering and draws about 2ft 6ins.
